STMC Tech Forum:: snapped my 3rd clutch cable WTF??
original broke many moons ago, replaced with an adjustable UPR and snapped last month right after the blower install, replaced with an orileys original style 1 and it snapped AGAIN today!! this is really gettting annoying

so whats everyone running and hows ur luck with it?? i want a smooth clean one, my original 1 i bought my car with was awsome and was soft to use which was great for daily driving but i had no clue which cable it is, the UPR was ok but not great, kinda stiff but usable, the orileys 1 just sucked big time, kinda glad it poped, was wayyyy too stiff.

remember this is on a SPEC Stage 2 clutch, heavy sucker so anything with a light load is REALLY appreciated

if they jack up the price of the vette im pretty sure the dealers will do the same with the camaro's as well, at least for the 1st two years.

Well, I bought it primarily for every day driving. It keeps "heat soak" from plaguing my car.

It will be winter for my car or like I have a full box of iced down intercooler fluid whenever I have the A/C running.

I swear stupid drivers don't realize they can seriously hurt some one. I am so glad to hear that nor Jess or your self were seriously hurt. I do agree that we need to remind our loved ones every day just how much we love them because like you said you just never know. I you guys need anything dont hesitate!!!

Well my clutch was down to crap, and i had a cracked pressure plate, i was reving and never getting anywhere. bought a new one and had pauls bro in law put it in for me, car feels really good now, and the new clutch bites hard. now my clutch engages really low instead of way at the top like before.

hope i can get some more mods in soon, and make another run back at the race track, when the weather gets better hopefully soon.
