ninos best time was 1260's but he forgot he had a milk carton with ton of crap in the truck and the tools we used to chage the tires jack, etc etc, bc it seems people steal stuff in the parking lot at track if u leave it unattended. tha was done with a 16 et street which i think a 15 would have been better for that car, and stock wheels up front. IT had a bone stock suspension. It also had the front sway bar still on the car. the car only had 410 gears and 430s or 456 would have been better with more weight redux 11s would have been achieved easily. its been done but just not in the valley.

yeah...i dont trust the track much especially with stuff unattended...thats why you gotta take a crew...to keep an eye out...

I still dont think 11's n/a on a stock ANYTHING can be acheived easily...if its that easy everybody would be running 11's...cams very easy....head work very easy...but just on simple bolt ons, minor weight reduction, and right wheels...still hard...i think low 12's will be easy....getting that 11.9999 or better will take time, right track night, good weather, and at the right place at the right time

12.5 on the mach came easy...took me a year to get it to 11.9 one time...12.0's all night...not easy..only 3 of us to do it...and that was in 2005...4 years later and still only 3 that i am aware of nationally to do it on the stock motor...

i'm sure there are guys in 05-09 gts that have ran 11's n/a on stock motor but i am sure they are numbered and quite a few nationally

most people cant wait to get a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous and go 12's n/a to a 10 on poweradder...

there is a white 06ish gt...older guy...pretty cool..he is running pretty good too

actually a 4v has gone 11.1X @ 120 ... STOCK LONG BLOCK.

record is shared by two cars ANGUS66 and 03AV8R

now getting an 11 out of a two valve is hard, Ian Mullane, did it in 06 with 266 HP.

Actually you are incorrect in a couple of things...

one...we are talking about 3v's not 4v's...

i brought up the 4v (mine) to show that it is hard to run 11's...cause i did it..i know what it takes and it wasnt easy...(you should know cause your buddies havent hit it yet in their 4v's...close but not quite)

next Angus66 (Bill, a good friend of mine) has a ported lower intake...not stock anymore...motor has been opened for that...you are CORRECT when you say he ran 11.1 on a stock LONGBLOCK...longblock does not include intake...BUT we are not talking about longblock..we are talking about the whole motor...

03AV8R and JTCOBRA are both running super low 11's on the COMPLETELY stock motor....i was the THIRD with just an 11.9...(at the time i ran 11.9...these two guys were 11.8 and 11.6) everyone else on that list has cams or ported lower intake to achieve an 11....believe me i know...i looked up and down that list for a good while even after i sold my mach 1...theyve come a long way since i sold mine...low 11's is crazy!

there have been several 2v's to run 11's BUT not on a stock motor...if that guy Ian did it on 266 rwhp...sounds like stock motor w bolt ons...he is a bad a**!!! Props to him!...It usually takes cams, head work, intake work, etc to get a 2v to just hit a low 12...so to hit 11 with very little power is awesome...i'm sure his car is extremely light...and rare indeed

i know what the 4v guys did to get that low 11...if i had my car today still (mach 1) i could not do some of those things to my car...but they are definately moving!

I remember when there used to be track nights where it was The Valley Vs Corpus or The Valley Vs Mexico and so on........so with that said.........to All The Valley Racers Who Hold it Down at The Race Track Props To You All....

I'm not trying to hit 11's "yet", I'm the only 4V the rest are 2V GT's that run impressive times. My best has been 12.72 full weight on Nitto 275 Drag radials w/stock gears, which was yesterday. I know after installing LT's,4:xx gears and suspension commponents I should be close, but on a 17" drag radial.
